Not to mention that he also possesses the nastiest, dirtiest voice in rock n roll history. Lemmy is the film that goes behind the scenes. A terrific and insightful documentary, given time, this film will be seen as as a documentary classic of rock music and quite the possibly the seminal film on Lemmy kilmister. No it is not the classic lineup, but this album has an energy and relevance that really pushes it to the same level as some of the bands prime era. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness. I don't own a lot of Motorhead on CD, but every time I listen to this album it reminds me that I need to pick up more of their stuff. Being a fan of Motorhead, I very much enjoyed this portrait of the legendary frontman Lemmy Kilimister, quite possibly the most bad assed rock n roller that has ever lived.
Okay, if you have the first release with its DVD and you don't feel the need to spalsh out again, that's fine, but the DVD alone is worth forking out again for if you're a big fan/collector.
"Hammered" was a pretty good album, however, and "Inferno" is in my opinion the best Motorhead studio album since "Bastards". We want to hear what you have to say but need to verify your account.
