In my opinion, eliminating the Fortinbras subplot was particularly disappointing, even though one can understand the reasons for doing so. TMDb Score. Video availability outside of United States varies. Living as close as I do in Birmingham, I have gone done to Stratford-upon-Avon on four or five occasions to see various adaptations by the RSC but by the time I casually enquired about this production, tickets were long gone.

Travelling or based outside United States? I admit that I may be biased since I watched this movie from a very young age as something of a tradition. That aside, this is the 'ultimate' HAMLET. Maybe that is the reason why his portrayal of the Prince of Denmark seems so acceptable to audiences all over the world.
