Maybe 2-2.5 months is better. It's an amazing city and think of the height there. Travel days would take a full day for hostel->airport->hostel. Shorter/longer stays possible. I would recommend the “Death Road Bike Tour”, which is a day excursion where you bike from an elevation of something like 12k+ feet to 4K feet in a matter of ~60 miles. Apart from Salta the accommodation was great...we even survived the camping! Arg side: El Chaitén, El Calafate for the hiking (lots of cheap day hikes in el Chaitén, and for the glacier in the other town, then went back up to Bariloche to do the 7 lakes drive and circuit Chico cycling. I also recommend checking out Valparaiso in Chile which is a bus ride away from Santiago. How expensive would you say Bolivia is ? Transfer to the airport in time for to catch your flight east to Cuzco.
These are two really amazing cities and I liked them way better than Santiago. A place for all of those interested in solo travel to share their experiences and stories! I think you’re better off trying to condense Peru + Bolivia + Chile and make Argentina a completely separate trip. They come in search of warmer currents, and an abundance of food. I recommend that when you go to Salar de Uyuni, you do the border crossing to Chile and visit the Atacama desert on the other side, then go to Santiago. People Did the do the W solo however you need to prepare far in advance as there’s one two companies who do the bookings when I went and the charge per night to camp. I assume you were on Peru Hop for that trip. The Chilean capital is a modern metropolis against a backdrop of the Andes. You can buy in the town before hand but it will cost a lot so if you do plan on being down there might aswell bring your gear There’s food down there to buy beforehand Idk about all your questions about Patagonia but what I visited was: Chilen side: Puerto Varas, Chiloe, Chaitén for the volcano, Puyuhuapi for the hanging glacier, vila cerro castillo for the day hike to the lake, then crossed via ferry to chilo Chico. 5 days for Cusco is way too less. But I recommend going by bus to El Calafate and go there with an agency. Granted I was traveling leisurely, but I would probably cut Peru at least. Especially with all the hiking you have planned, you’ll want a few days to relax and do more lowkey exploration.

For example you could fly into BA, spend 5-7 days, (great idea there’s so much to do), fly over to Barloche and down south to Patagonia and just spend the rest of your time down there hiking and crossing to Chile to see that side flying home from Santiago. It‘s close to Uyuni. Let me know if I'm rushing and skipping too many things or exhausting myself traveling from place to place I can extend my stay for 2 more weeks or another month there.
